Canopy Connections is a casual gathering for urban & community forestry and arboriculture professionals, volunteer tree stewards, and anyone who cares about Nashville’s trees. Whether you plant them, care for them, design with them, climb them, advocate for them, or simply enjoy their shade, come meet others working to grow and sustain our region’s urban forest.

Parks & Nashville’s Urban Forest

This installment of Canopy Connections will highlight the role Nashville’s parks play in protecting, restoring, and expanding a healthy urban forest. Our guest speakers will share stories from two Metro Nashville parks—Beaman Park and Shelby Park & Bottoms—where conservation, community partnerships, and volunteer stewardship are helping care for significant areas of forest within the city.
