JP McDonnell is the Assistant Manager of SavATree Consulting Group, with over a decade of experience in urban forestry and arboriculture. An ASCA Registered Consulting Arborist and ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, he chairs the Tree Risk Assessment and Managing Trees During Construction clauses on the ANSI A300 Tree Care Standards Committee and serves on committees for ISA, ASCA, and UCFS. Previously an Urban Forester with NYC Parks, he holds a B.S. in Forestry from Sewanee and a Master of Natural Resources from Virginia Tech. JP is currently based in Nashville, TN.
